Around the city, flyers, graffiti, and a banner dropped over a highway have popularized the call to “Fight ICE with Fire,” a slogan used by revolutionaries across the US. In an editorial this month, the Incendiary Board emphasized that this slogan should be call to organize the masses to combat and resist ICE and US imperialism, as opposed to individual liquidation of mass organizing.

Last month, President Donald Trump ordered federal departments to track down and deport millions of undocumented immigrants. That effort was postponed until this month as part of negotiations to get Democrats to agree to pass a $4.6 billion border bill. Earlier this week, in the face of falling short of his deportation goals, Trump expanded the authority of immigration officers to deport undocumented immigrants without the right to appear before a judge if they have been living in the US for less than two years.
